I love the quote by Jane Gonzalez-Mena. It reminded me of an activity during my undergraduate studies where the objective was to look at the world through the eyes of a child. For this activity, we were instructed to get on the floor and engage in play with our colleagues. Our instructor used various forms of engagement to facilitate our play or promote our learning experiences. This was an eye-opening experience for me because it changed by the way I engaged with students and how I modeled this teaching practice for my teachers.
